Browse the Painting For Family and Friend gallery to see real examples of our work across interior and exterior painting, luxury finishes, drywall repairs, and plaster restoration. Our gallery highlights before-and-after photos, close-ups of trim and detail work, and finished luxury treatments that demonstrate our craftsmanship and attention to detail. Each project in the gallery represents a unique client brief, substrate challenge, and design outcome—showcasing how we tailor solutions to fit family homes and neighborhood aesthetics in Wolverine Lake and neighboring communities.

Why a gallery is important when choosing a painting contractor

Photos provide tangible proof of a contractor’s skills, consistency, and design sensibility. They show how crews handle transitions, the clarity of lines at trim, how color choices play in real spaces, and the durability of finishes over time. A carefully curated gallery helps homeowners visualize potential outcomes and understand the range of finishes available—from standard flat walls to accents and luxury finishes.

Featured gallery categories

  • Interior transformations:  Living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms with fresh paint, cabinetry refinish, and accent walls.
  • Exterior makeovers: Complete house repaints, siding replacements followed by paint, and trim restoration.
  • Luxury finishes: Glazes, Feature walls, and textured finishes.
  • Drywall and plaster repairs: Before-and-after shots highlighting repaired ceilings, patched walls, and skim-coated surfaces ready for paint.
  • Trim and millwork: Close-ups that emphasize crisp cut-ins, consistent sheen, and clean caulking lines.

Each photo in our gallery is accompanied by a brief project summary: the condition before work began, the client’s goals, the methods used (e.g., heavy scraping, lath replacement, Level 5 finish), and any specific products or custom color matches. These context notes help homeowners understand the process and expected results for similar projects.

Stories behind the projects

A room interior shows light-colored underlayment rolled out on the floor, partially covered by new wood-look plank flooring.
Five vertical wood planks leaning against a wall; four are stained dark brown, and one in the middle is light grey.

We prioritize honesty and representation: photos are taken on-site, in natural and constructed lighting, and often include both wide shots for context and close-ups for detail. We avoid overly edited images that misrepresent the true finish or color. Sample panels and mock-ups used in project planning are also shown so clients see how we validate color and texture choices before full application.

How we curate gallery images

Using the gallery for planning your project

Save images to show us during your consultation so we can prepare accurate samples and timelines

How galleries shape expectations for quotes and timelines

Mock-ups and images allow us to more accurately estimate labor and materials. When you select images from our gallery to emulate, we use that reference to prepare a detailed scope and price estimate.

I've had Andrew do a few projects for me, they have always been done in a timely fashion at very fair rates. Whether it's a week long project, or just a quick touch up he's always been quick and reliable.

My wife and I have used Andrew for several home improvement jobs, both inside and out of our house. Andrew is focused and hard working in everything he does. He works until the job is complete and we are completely satisfied. Andrew is the best person we have hired to do work on our house.

We have had Andrew complete a handful of jobs over the years and every time I have been completely satisfied and looking forward to the next job. On top of painting every room in the house, Andrew has also been a great resource for various household jobs that I've needed some help with - installing a fan/light fixture, mounting a TV, replacing a mantle, creating a latchable hatch for an attic access. The list goes on and on. His expertise goes well beyond just painting and if it's a job that needs to be done he either can do it himself or at least point you in the right direction to find someone who can accomplish what you're trying to do. He also has helped us make some design decisions like choosing paint colors or making style modifications that always end up looking fantastic.

Andrew's attention to details is excellent and much appreciated! He did a great job painting my kitchen, living room, and hallway. He fixed many blemishes that other painters may have left, so his preparation work is as good as his painting!
